Originally used by Roman soldiers for their herapeutic properties, these thermal pools have been turned into a spa & bath.

Gerês is Portugal’s first and only national park. The area covers more than 270 square miles. Filled with history, from Neolithic tombs that dot the landscape to Roman roads, bridges, and milestone markers.

In nearby Braga, The Museum of Biscaínhos is located in a beautiful residential Palace of a form noble family, who built it in the 17th century.

Nestled on the coast of Porto, one of the oldest areas of the city and one of the most beautiful as well. The landscape over the river and the Rabelo boats that cross the waters make the delights of tourists and locals alike.

Sitting atop a bluff, this gorgeous botanical garden is one of Porto's best-loved escapes.

Found just outside of Braga, the Sanctuary of Bom Jesus is a Catholic shrine with a breathtaking staircase that climbs 116 meters. The Sanctuary is a UNESCO World Heritage Site
